Description

Lead the design and execution of scalable data architectures and pipelines on the Databricks platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, efficient data pipelines and lakehouse architectures using Databricks and GCP.
• Develop and deploy ETL/ELT workflows and machine learning models within the Databricks environment.
• Optimize Spark workloads for performance and manage cluster configurations for cost efficiency.
• Enforce data security, governance, and quality standards across all data assets.
• Mentor team members on platform best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
• Expertise in GCP Data Architecture and Data Lakehouse patterns.
• Hands-on experience designing data pipelines using Databricks.
• Proven ability to optimize Spark workloads for performance and cost.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and dimensional data modeling.
• Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.
• Experience managing data security, compliance, and governance policies.
• Ability to lead technical execution and coordinate project timelines.
