Description

You will own the strategic design and governance of enterprise data architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Model data strategically, ensuring alignment with long-term data strategy.
• Collaborate with SMEs, Data Engineers, and DBAs to enforce data governance policies.
• Mentor junior data modelers and oversee their architectural output.
• Guide the implementation of data quality assurance and data security designs.
• Provide overarching guidance to optimize data flow architecture, platforms, and tools for scale.

Required Skills

• 10+ years architecting complex systems across multi-cloud (Azure, AWS) and on-premises (Oracle, Hadoop) environments.
• 10+ years experience with various data modeling techniques (Medallion, Mesh, Dimensional, etc.).
• 5+ years experience with data engineering tools like Informatica, Glue, Data Factory, DBT, Python, Spark, or scripting.
• Expert knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL and Oracle database technologies.
• Experience utilizing data processing frameworks such as Hadoop.
