Lead discovery workshops with finance, accounting, operations, and executive stakeholders to identify reporting needs, data gaps, and priorities.
Translate business requirements into approved measures, reporting dimensions, canonical data models, source mappings, and acceptance criteria.
Define financial structures such as legal entities, chart of accounts, cost centers, products, suppliers, and fiscal periods, according to the agreed scope.
Establish data ownership, stewardship, business definitions, and a practical process for approving changes.
Design Snowflake data layers for ingestion, standardization, and curated financial reporting, including history, lineage, reconciliation, security, and performance considerations.
Define integration patterns across financial applications, planning systems, enterprise SaaS applications, and external logistics partners.
Specify feed contracts, refresh requirements, validation rules, safe replay, and exception handling.
Use SQL and Python to profile source data, test mappings, validate reconciliations, and develop representative integration or transformation prototypes.
Design role-based privileges, row-level restrictions, and sensitive-field controls with security stakeholders.
Present architecture options and tradeoffs to business leaders, secure decisions, and document implementation-ready requirements.
Develop a phased backlog and roadmap; review engineering designs and implementations against approved standards.
Coordinate with finance, security, and operations on testing, acceptance, and production readiness
