Description

Lead architectural design and implementation for Microsoft Fabric and Azure data environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design Microsoft Fabric architectures covering governance, security, administration, DevOps, usability, performance, scale, and cost management.
• Create architecture and design documents for Purview Governance, including non-functional design and capacity deployment.
• Own end-to-end architectural responsibilities including solution design, data migration planning, capacity planning, application security, and process orchestration.
• Execute design playback and quality assurance to ensure alignment with customer requirements through formal review and sign-off.
• Configure workspace and capacity settings as part of the core architectural design.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in the software industry.
• 3+ years of experience as a Microsoft Fabric solution architect.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Proficiency with PySpark and Microsoft Fabric.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio.
• Experience using Visual Studio for data engineering tasks.
• Proven track record in application and data integration.
• Degree in any graduate field.
