Description

Design and implement data architecture across conceptual, logical, physical, subject area, and application layers. Own the data warehouse and OLTP models to support long-term data management roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Establish governance processes for metadata accuracy, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee data source mapping, movement, interfaces, and integration to ensure data fidelity.
• Develop integration process data flows and perform data mapping analyses.
• Maintain version control in GitHub and log work, estimates, and time in JIRA.
• Identify opportunities for data reuse, migration, or retirement.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in Data Integration, Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and implementation.
• 4-7 years of full lifecycle data warehousing experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency with Python coding and creating Apache Airflow DAGs.
• Deep knowledge of relational database designs, normalization, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• 3-5 years of BI experience from an ETL perspective.
• Familiarity with data privacy laws such as FERPA and education domain standards like CEDS, ED-FI, and SIF.
• Ability to troubleshoot resource bottlenecks involving CPU, memory, bandwidth, and storage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake.
