Description

Design and implement data architecture across conceptual, logical, physical, subject area, and application layers to support long-term data management roadmaps.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own data warehouse and OLTP models, ensuring data fidelity through source mapping, movement, and integration.
• Establish governance processes for metadata accuracy, data quality, and regulatory compliance (FERPA, CEDS, ED-FI, SIF).
• Develop integration data flows, perform data mapping analyses, and identify opportunities for reuse, migration, or retirement.
• Maintain version control in GitHub and log work, estimates, and time in JIRA.
• Troubleshoot resource bottlenecks involving CPU, memory, bandwidth, and storage.

Required Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in Data Integration, Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and implementation.
• 4-7 years of full lifecycle data warehousing experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency with Python coding and creating Apache Airflow DAGs.
• Deep knowledge of relational database designs, normalization, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• 3-5 years of BI experience from an ETL perspective.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake.
