Architect and modernize data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure, ensuring scalable, secure, and governed data solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data modernization initiatives using Microsoft Fabric.
• Build and optimize data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and SQL queries.
• Enforce data governance, security frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align data strategy with goals.
• Maintain robust data infrastructure on Azure, with support for AWS/GCP.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with Databricks, Azure Synapse, or Spark.
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP is a plus).
• Expertise in data governance, security frameworks, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing large-scale data modernization projects.
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment in Dallas.
