Description

Design and implement enterprise data architecture for the Kessel Run program across on-premises and AWS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data models to support stakeholder requirements and future growth.
• Develop and manage data pipelines using ETL/ELT technologies.
• Ensure data architecture security and compliance in hybrid cloud settings.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to deliver cohesive technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture.
• 10+ total years of IT or Data experience.
• Active Secret clearance or higher.
• Proficiency in Python and Apache Hadoop.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Apache NiFi.
• Expertise in data warehousing, analytics, and management tools (ER/Studio, Alation, or DataHub).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud computing platforms.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Data Architect certifications (e.g., CDMPr) or AWS Cloud certifications.
• Experience with machine learning, unstructured data manipulation, and data visualization.
