Description

You will define and build enterprise data architectures, establishing standards and governance for data platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define data architecture standards, reference architectures, and design patterns for enterprise data platforms.
• Design data governance, security, and access control models.
• Build data layers using Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) Architecture.
• Develop data models covering Columnar DBs, 3NF, and Logical/Physical Data Models.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore data engineering efforts.

Required Skills

• 20+ years delivering Data & AI-driven projects.
• 10 years in Architecture, specializing in Cloud Platforms.
• 7 years hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Platform.
• 7 years expertise in Databricks, including Unity Catalog.
• 5 years in Data Engineering solutions using Python and PySpark within Databricks Notebooks.
• 10 years building data models (Columnar DBs, 3NF, Logical/Physical Data Models).
• 5 years experience with CI/CD and GitHub for data pipelines.
• Experience with AI code assistance tools like GitHub Copilot.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Onshore/Offshore coordination and collaboration.
