Design and implement data architectures that align customer data estates with business goals and IT priorities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the modernization of Data Platform, Analytics, and AI roadmaps for long-term technical viability.
• Architect solutions integrating Cloud ML, Big Data, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
• Build technical relationships with senior IT executives to drive cloud adoption and consensus.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve blockers and advocate for best practices.
• Lead virtual teams to ensure successful implementation of complex customer projects.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in architecture, design, or implementation of highly distributed applications.
• Expertise in two or more Data Platform Cloud solutions, including SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Azure SQL, NoSQL (MariaDB, MongoDB), or Cosmos DB.
• Experience with Big Data and Data Warehousing tools such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, or AWS Redshift.
• Proficiency in Advanced Analytics tools including Azure Databricks, Azure ML, Google AI, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with data estate workloads like Teradata, Oracle Exadata, IBM Netezza, SAP HANA, or Hadoop.
• Technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, database migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture.
• Strong ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies and communicate complex solutions to executives and engineers.

Preferred Skills

• Financial or international industry experience.
• Professional certifications in cloud technologies.
