Description

You will design the target-state Databricks Lakehouse architecture and lead the ETL modernization strategy from legacy SQL Server environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Assess current SQL Server, SSIS, SQL Agent, stored procedures, Alteryx, and SFTP/SharePoint pipelines.
• Define data migration, lineage, source-to-target mappings, validation, and cutover plans.
• Ensure continuity of downstream reporting and integrations during the transition.
• Create architecture documentation and provide implementation oversight for the new lakehouse model.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data architecture with legacy and modern platforms.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and SQL Agent.
• Strong proficiency in Databricks, Spark, PySpark, and Delta Lake.
• Experience with Azure data platforms including ADF and ADLS.
• Proven track record in ETL/ELT modernization and pipeline migration.
• Ability to manage data lineage, migration validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Alteryx, SharePoint, and SFTP workflows.
• Healthcare or Supply Chain domain knowledge.
• Experience with post-migration support models.
