Description

You will lead large-scale data architecture planning and technical consulting for complex software engineering initiatives, balancing strategic design with hands-on implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of greenfield data solutions, including data sourcing and integration from scratch.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, Infrastructure, and Operations to establish data and system integration best practices.
• Identify, manage, and remediate IT risk and technical debt.
• Guide data analysts and engineers in building scalable, data-heavy enterprise applications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Architect working on scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
• 7+ years of experience with data modeling, metadata management, data governance, data lineage, and data dictionary.
• 7+ years of experience with MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Teradata, and Apache Spark.
• 7+ years of experience with REST API, Apigee, Kafka, and JSON for data consumption and production.
• 7+ years of experience building self-serve solutions using on-prem and cloud capabilities.
• 7+ years of backend and ETL experience integrating with enterprise data providers in batch or on-demand.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud-based data solutions including BigQuery, Snowflake, Talend Cloud, or Databricks.
• 5+ years of experience with data analytics and reporting using PowerBI, SAS Viya, or Tableau.
• 5+ years of proficiency in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• 3+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift containers.
