Description

You will design and implement modern data platforms for Private Banking and Investment Management, driving the migration from legacy Oracle Data Warehouses to Oracle Exadata and Cloudera.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the migration strategy from legacy Oracle Data Warehouses to Oracle Exadata and Cloudera.
• Design and document ETL logic and data flows for both batch processing and real-time streaming.
• Establish and maintain a secure data platform on on-prem Cloudera infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams to ensure strict adherence to architectural standards.
• Contribute to the long-term data roadmap and strategic planning for the business lines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with a hands-on development background.
• 6+ years of direct Data Warehouse project experience.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Spark, and Kafka.
• Expertise in SQL query optimization and Spark performance tuning.
• Proven ability to design efficient ETL/ELT workflows and schedulers.
• Proficiency with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
• Deep understanding of architectural principles, design patterns, and SDLC processes.
• Experience supporting big data ecosystems, relational/non-relational databases, and data lakes.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
