Description

You will design and maintain the data architecture strategy for pharmacy operations, ensuring alignment with business and IT objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop logical and physical data models to support pharmacy data requirements and efficient analysis.
• Design and implement data integration solutions between EHRs, pharmacy management systems, and other healthcare applications.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies to maintain data quality, integrity, and security.
• Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure system availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with clinical, pharmacy, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture or data management, specifically within healthcare or pharmacy data systems.
• Hands-on experience with database management systems such as SQL Server or MongoDB.
• Practical experience with data integration tools including Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or Informatica.
• Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Deep understanding of healthcare data standards like HL7, FHIR, and NCPDP.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements including HIPAA and HITECH.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and evaluate new technologies for architecture enhancement.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
• Certifications in data management or architecture, such as CDMp or TOGAF.
