You will own the end-to-end architecture of modern Safety/Pharmacovigilance data platforms on GCP.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, resilient data processing pipelines using serverless architectures, containers, and Data Fabric.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data streams, integrations, transformations, and data warehouses.
• Write detailed documentation including architecture diagrams, data models, and implementation plans.
• Partner with Security and Risk Management teams to improve security posture and test disaster recovery plans.
• Improve API infrastructure and expand the data science/ML footprint using latest innovations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or engineering.
• Pharmacovigilance experience is required, including understanding of the ArisG ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of GCP services including BigQuery, Apache Kafka, Vertex AI, AutoML, and Gemini.
• Proficiency in writing complex scripts using IronPython, JS, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Python and R scripting.
• Ability to design big data pipelines that ingest data from clinical and non-clinical systems.
