Description

Lead the design, implementation, and governance of data architecture, quality, and modeling standards across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design data schemes, object models, and flow diagrams to structure, store, and integrate data.
• Establish data governance processes, policies, and metadata standards to ensure data integrity and security.
• Develop template code for sourcing, collecting, and transforming data for both streaming and batch processing.
• Translate big data and analytics requirements into high-performance data models at scale.
• Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for data management and self-service platforms.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data Warehouse, ETL, Data Modeling, and Reporting.
• 7+ years of experience productionizing and deploying Big Data platforms and applications.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, Spark, and AWS S3.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Hive, Kafka, and Redshift.
• Proficiency with Airflow, Hive Catalog, Parquet, Avro, and Tableau.
• Experience with container-based development using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proven ability to build Custom Enterprise Data Warehouses or implement Data Catalogs.
• Experience working in large teams using CI/CD and agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of infrastructure requirements including networking, storage, and hardware optimization.
• Mentor Data Analytics team members on best practices, processes, and platform technologies.
