Key Contributions & Responsibilities

Strategy & Architecture

• Define enterprise data strategies around governance, architecture, scaling, and AI/ML enablement.
• Shape integration roadmaps across ETL, pipelines, ingestion, orchestration, APIs, and messaging.
• Align data initiatives with business priorities, driving measurable outcomes.
• Architect an integration layer leveraging Databricks’ zero-copy architecture to support OLTP systems while optimizing shared resources for OLAP use—enabling governed access to unified data assets with minimal movement and redundancy.

Technical Leadership

• Provide oversight across the modern data stack, including Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud-native services.
• Guide architecture for data lakes, data warehouses, and AI-driven platforms, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing integrations across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Evaluate current technology investments and client-led initiatives to identify reusable components, building a cohesive, future-state architecture that optimizes existing assets without compromising delivery outcomes or timelines.
• Review consumption needs from the Databricks implementation and define optimal integration layer solutions and architectural paths to support each use case effectively.

Delivery & Global Execution

• Lead onshore and offshore teams delivering data engineering, governance, and AI programs.
• Establish delivery frameworks that ensure seamless global collaboration across time zones.
• Drive consistent quality, productivity, and innovation across distributed teams.
• Collaborate closely with product and backlog teams to ensure alignment between delivery and feature development, driving continuous feedback loops that maximize business value and ROI.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and IT stakeholders.
• Translate customer business needs into enterprise data/integration strategies and delivery roadmaps.
• Build strong client relationships and drive adoption of enterprise data platforms.

Team & Leadership Development

• Build, mentor, and scale multi-location teams (onshore and offshore).
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and excellence across distributed teams.
• Empower offshore leads while remaining hands-on in critical decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture design—specifically building integration layers that enable both OLTP and OLAP consumption from Databricks with minimal data movement and maximum governance.
• Proven track record in enterprise data strategy, governance, and scaling architectures.
• Deep expertise in integration layers (ETL, data pipelines, orchestration, APIs, messaging, hybrid/cloud).
• Hands-on or managerial exposure to Databricks (data engineering and ML workflows).
• Familiarity with Snowflake, data lakes, warehouses, and modern cloud infrastructure.
• Strong customer-facing leadership with the ability to build trust, define strategy, and drive digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading global and offshore teams, ensuring distributed delivery excellence.
