Description

Define and implement enterprise data architecture, owning the lifecycle from concept through delivery. You will partner with stakeholders to align data structures with business outcomes and ensure cohesive solutions across domains.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data system design and architecture documentation.
• Maintain the enterprise solution inventory and ensure architectural compliance.
• Collaborate with business units and subject matter experts to refine data requirements.
• Design data structures and interactions that support specific business outcomes.
• Partner with cross-domain architects to ensure integrated and scalable solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or application development.
• 4+ years of dedicated experience in data architecture.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Python for data processing and solution development.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex querying and data manipulation.
• Experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with data streaming platforms, specifically Apache Kafka.
• Working knowledge of cloud-native services including API Gateways, Serverless, and NoSQL databases.
• Practical experience with Databricks on Azure, including Unity Catalog, Notebooks, and Jobs.
• Operational experience in both Azure and AWS environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Background in building real-time data pipelines and streaming architectures.
