Description

You will design and manage the enterprise data architecture and modeling strategy for the Minneapolis team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support analysis and operational stores.
• Create and maintain current- and target-state data architectures aligned with enterprise principles.
• Define schemas for operational data stores and design containers using query-by-pattern concepts.
• Establish mechanisms for data synchronization, reconciliation, and recovery between sources and stores.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure architectures meet organizational objectives.

Required Skills

• Experience with ER modeling tools such as ER/Studio or Erwin.
• Proficiency in draw.io.
• Hands-on experience with traditional databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL technologies like Amazon DynamoDB and MongoDB.
• Experience with search platforms such as Amazon OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or Solr.
• Technical proficiency with file formats including XML, JSON, AVRO, fixed width, and delimited files.
• Ability to define standards, guidelines, and processes for data governance and quality.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with APIs.
• Knowledge of streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
