Description

You will define and own the enterprise data strategy, architecture, and governance while leading hands-on technical implementation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data strategy, governance frameworks, and roadmaps for platforms, integration, and analytics.
• Design end-to-end data architecture including batch, real-time, and streaming solutions across cloud platforms.
• Actively build and review data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, ingestion frameworks, and data models.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, driving adoption of DataOps, MLOps, and modern paradigms like Data Mesh.
• Collaborate with business leaders and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
• Deep expertise in Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Proficiency with major cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Strong background in API design and data integration standards.
• Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation processes.
• Familiarity with DataOps and MLOps practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Data Mesh or Data Fabric paradigms.
• Background in enabling self-service analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
