Description

You will design, document, and maintain the architectural framework for data systems, including conceptual, logical, and physical database models.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create, optimize, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical database models.
• Document functional requirements and system specifications into detailed data architecture designs.
• Identify data issues and present technical solutions or resolution options to the team.
• Communicate technical designs and progress effectively with peers and leadership.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL Server 2014, 2016, and Azure SQL Database.
• Proven experience using data modeling tools such as Erwin, Toad, or ER/Studio.
• Hands-on experience designing data warehousing solutions.
• Strong experience designing ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
• Expertise with NoSQL databases, specifically Azure Cosmos DB.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Flow.
• Background in accounting and/or tax domains.
• Demonstrable experience in data analysis and data management.

Preferred Skills

• Specific experience with Erwin Data Modeling.
