Description

You will own the design and implementation of integrated, scalable, and secure data systems for healthcare analytics and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, flexible, and secure interoperability solutions aligned to USCDI-US Core compliant.
• Develop and maintain data models (logical, physical, and conceptual) supporting healthcare requirements (Clinical, Claims, Member, Provider, EHR).
• Evaluate and recommend data management technologies, platforms, and frameworks optimizing data collection and integration.
• Oversee data governance policies ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance with HIPAA and GDPR.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business leaders to ensure architecture supports organizational data needs.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Data Architecture, databases, and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CCDs, HIE, USCDI-US Core).
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, PySpark, and Python.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end data processing.
• Experience with data modeling tools like Erwin.
• Experience with integration tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Kafka, Informatica.
• Understanding of business intelligence (BI) and analytics platforms.
• Ability to work independently and self-direct as a thought leader.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, preferably in healthcare.
• 5+ years of experience in solutioning cloud data platforms (Snowflake).
