Description

You will design and implement scalable data architectures on Microsoft Azure to support clinical trial data and CRO partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure data architectures using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
• Collaborate with clinical research, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement data governance policies and procedures for the secure management of clinical trial data.
• Model data using dimensional and relational concepts to meet business needs.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience designing and implementing data architectures on cloud platforms.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as T-SQL and Python.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts including dimensional and relational modeling.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Bicep.
• Solid understanding of data security principles and best practices.
• Experience working within a CRO or Life Sciences environment.
