Description

You will design and oversee data architecture for life insurance products, leading data modeling and engineering efforts while managing offshore technical teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data solutions within the AWS ecosystem.
• Lead hands-on data engineering using SQL, PySpark, and Python.
• Manage and review technical tasks performed by offshore development teams.
• Execute complex data orchestration pipelines.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of professional data engineering or architecture experience.
• Deep domain expertise in the Life Insurance industry.
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and Python.
• Strong AWS experience including DynamoDB, S3, DMS, Kinesis Data Streams, Glue Catalog, Athena, and OpenSearch.
• Experience with Attunity for data replication or migration.
• Proven track record of recent AWS-focused data assignments.
• Ability to manage and direct offshore development workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing complex data orchestration pipelines.
