Description

You design and implement scalable data architecture supporting analytics and digitalization initiatives across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain logical and physical data models to ensure data integrity and support business needs.
• Design and govern data architecture and integration standards specifically across Azure Data Factory and Databricks for integrated analytics.
• Define architecture standards, guidelines, and procedures for data management, MDM, Data Quality, and Data Warehousing.
• Own strategic roadmaps detailing the journey to the target state for all Data & Analytics domains.
• Review third-party high-level designs to ensure coherence with enterprise data architecture standards.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Data Architectures, including Data Lake, Medallion Architecture, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric.
• Proficiency with cloud-based data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Blob Storage, ADLS Gen2, and Azure SQL.
• Expertise in data modelling, database design, and knowledge of star/snowflake schemas, facts & dimensions.
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data migration across real-time, batch, and micro-batch scenarios.
• Strong SQL querying skills and knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, data masking, and data security practices in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python and experience driving DevOps and CI/CD adoption for data pipeline automation.
• Understanding of insurance domain concepts with hands-on experience in data modelling.
• 12+ years of experience in hands-on design and implementation of comprehensive systems and architectures.
