Description

Design scalable technical systems supporting Regulatory Strategy and Intelligence by partnering with Product, Technology Services, and R&D Architecture teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture artifacts including business context diagrams, process overviews, data flow diagrams, data models, and data pipeline designs.
• Align architecture with Regulatory, Enterprise, and R&D technology strategies, patterns, and standards.
• Simplify the application landscape through system integration and intelligent automation.
• Document architecture decisions using Lean IX, SAXpress, Draw.io, and Confluence.
• Lead technical workshops to resolve ambiguity and drive consensus among stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect specifically within pharmaceutical development.
• 5+ years of experience working with structured RDBMS, Snowflake, and content management platforms.
• 5+ years of experience in integration design and operationalization including REST APIs, Kafka, ETL, and data streaming.
• Experience architecting regulated systems such as GxP, HIPAA, or GDPR.
• Knowledge of compute, networking, storage, database, and AWS machine learning services.
• Proficiency in AWS deployment and management services.
• AWS-Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and IT product roadmaps.
• Knowledge of regulatory data, content, and terminology used in pharmaceutical development.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Well-Architected Framework certification.
• AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty certification.
