You will design scalable, supportable technical systems to drive business value for Regulatory Strategy and Intelligence.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture artifacts including business context diagrams, process overviews, data flow diagrams, and data model overviews.
• Design data pipelines, content architecture, and integration architectures to simplify the application landscape.
• Collaborate with product owners, lead engineers, information security, and quality stakeholders to align with enterprise and R&D technology strategies.
• Document architecture decisions using Lean IX, Draw.io, and Confluence.
• Lead technical workshops, drive consensus, and articulate business requirements to build IT product roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect in pharmaceutical development.
• 5+ years of experience with structured RDBMS, Snowflake, and content management platforms.
• 5+ years of experience in integration design and operationalization, including REST APIs, Kafka, ETL, and data streaming.
• Experience architecting regulated systems (GxP, HIPAA, or GDPR).
• Technical knowledge of compute, networking, storage, database, and AWS machine learning and deployment services.
• Proven ability to surface technical requirements and build IT product roadmaps.
• BA/BS degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific field.
• AWS-Certified Solutions Architect certification.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Well-Architected Framework certification.
• AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty certification.
