Description

You will design and implement data solutions for the Virginia Department of Transportation in Richmond, VA. This is a hybrid onsite role requiring 4 days per week initially, reducing to 2 days thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using IBM InfoSphere/DataStage.
• Develop data models and analyze requirements for data warehousing solutions.
• Create interfaces between business applications using Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server.
• Collaborate with business users and developers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes to deliver data solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an ETL developer or Data Architect.
• Deep expertise in IBM InfoSphere/DataStage product line.
• Strong background in Data Warehousing concepts and implementation.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server development.
• Ability to conduct data analysis and develop data models.
• Clear written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with web service development using IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
• Background in ADF development.
