Description

You will design and implement the foundational reporting and financial analytics environment on AWS using FinOps best practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable data environments, lakes, and pipelines using AWS services including S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, and Lambda.
• Lead FinOps initiatives to monitor cloud spend, develop cost allocation strategies, and build forecasting models.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize cloud usage, financial performance, and operational KPIs.
• Establish metadata repositories, tagging strategies, and usage tracking mechanisms for cost visibility.
• Document environment architecture and provide onboarding materials to ensure a smooth handoff to Visualization PODs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture or engineering roles.
• Proven expertise in AWS architecture, specifically S3, Redshift, Athena, and Glue.
• Strong hands-on experience applying FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Proficiency in Power BI and data modeling for visualization.
• Experience designing scalable data environments intended for long-term team handoff.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear insights for executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree.
