Description

You will lead the architecture and design of data platforms to support AI/ML solutions across ecommerce, web, mobile, and retail systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of business and technical initiatives for data platforms and AI/ML integration.
• Design and oversee pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering.
• Define scalable architectures for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
• Translate business problems into ML solutions and guide model development from experimentation to production.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to implement technology solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with data platforms, specifically in the ecommerce space.
• 7+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect.
• Expertise in architecting modern cloud and microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with MS Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL database design, and querying languages.
• Experience with MLOps, model deployments, monitoring, and version control.
• Understanding of Data Mesh, data democratization, and the creation of data products.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST services, Service Mesh, and API Gateways.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with Azure Databricks and Dataiku.
• Experience with ecommerce-specific technologies including search, personalization, and digital marketing tools.

Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
