You will design and implement logical and physical data models for data lake and data warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical data models for data lake and data warehouse architectures.
• Implement data partitioning and indexing strategies to optimize retrieval on large datasets.
• Analyze database performance to resolve bottlenecks through query tuning and configuration optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to translate requirements into technical data models.
• Perform capacity planning and recommend hardware or software upgrades to support architecture needs.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience as a Data Architect.
• Expertise in modeling data lake and data warehouse environments.
• Proficiency in SQL programming and advanced query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or Clickhouse.
• Experience with columnar databases.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin or PowerDesigner.
• Deep understanding of database table retrievals, partitions, and indexing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a related field.
