Data Architect

You will design and implement logical and physical data models for data lake and data warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logical and physical data models for data lake and data warehouse environments.
• Develop and maintain data architecture standards and best practices.
• Implement data partitioning and indexing strategies to enhance query performance on large datasets.
• Analyze database performance to identify bottlenecks and perform query tuning, index optimization, and configuration tuning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, DBAs, and developers to resolve performance issues and translate requirements into effective models.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect focusing on data lake and data warehouse modeling.
• Expertise in SQL programming and query optimization.
• Proficiency with data modeling tools such as ERwin or PowerDesigner.
• Experience with data warehousing platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, or Clickhouse.
• Strong knowledge of database table retrieval, partitions, and indexing techniques.
• Experience with columnar databases.
• Ability to perform capacity planning and hardware/software upgrade recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a related technical field.
