Description

Design and develop scalable data architectures on the Snowflake cloud platform to support growing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Snowflake-based solutions, including data modeling, schema design, and integration pipelines.
• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and query performance for large-scale datasets.
• Design end-to-end data integration architectures using Informatica, covering transformation, mapping, and delivery.
• Implement data security practices including encryption, role-based access controls, and privacy measures.
• Own technical solutions from the pre-sales design phase through to ongoing project execution and documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role focused on cloud-based solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake components, including Virtual Warehouses and Snowflake Data Sharing.
• Expertise in Snowflake data modeling using Star, Snowflake, and Data Vault 2.0 methodologies.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT workflows using SnowPipe and implementing stored procedures.
• Deep understanding of the Informatica platform, specifically PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, and Data Quality.
• Hands-on experience with data integration, data migration to Snowflake, and DWH concepts.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and other data querying languages.
• Proven ability to establish data quality processes and implement data governance and security best practices.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Informatica Master Data Management.
