Description

You will design and maintain data architecture and models within Snowflake environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models and architecture for Snowflake.
• Implement Snowflake objects including SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Views, and Stored Procedures.
• Manage data ingestion using Avro and Parquet file formats.
• Gather end-user requirements and produce technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Leads to manage client user account creation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake, including SnowSQL and SnowPipe.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Extensive experience with Data Modelling and Data Warehouse (DW) concepts.
• Proficiency in Unix and advanced Unix Shell Scripting.
• Hands-on experience loading Avro and Parquet files into Snowflake.
• Experience with file transfer mechanisms such as FTP.
• Knowledge of schedulers like TWS.
• Ability to work with Tableau or PowerBI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within established project management frameworks.
