Description

You will design and architect scalable, secure data solutions within Azure environments, owning the technical architecture from stakeholder requirements to implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and secure data solutions using Databricks and Azure.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using PySpark and other data engineering tools.
• Implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies for critical data systems.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical architectures and data models.
• Mentor junior data engineers and recommend tools to improve data processing workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role in data engineering.
• Expertise in Databricks and Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in PySpark for data processing and transformation.
• Solid understanding of Disaster Recovery concepts and implementation.
• Strong foundation in data engineering, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Experience with automation and CI/CD.

Preferred Skills

• Azure certification (e.g., Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect).
• Familiarity with big data tools and the broader ecosystem.
