Description

You will design and architect end-to-end data solutions centered on Snowflake and Marillion.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Marillion, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business and analytical needs.
• Define and enforce data governance, data quality, and metadata management standards.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, covering clustering, micro-partitioning, and cost governance.
• Integrate data from structured and unstructured sources while ensuring security best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Marillion ETL/ELT, including jobs, orchestration, and transformations.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake: warehouse design, streams, tasks, materialized views, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts (Kimball/Inmon).
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, IAM).
• Strong understanding of batch and real-time data processing patterns.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to create architecture diagrams using tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, or Visio.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GCP or Azure data services.
