Description

You will design and manage data architectures for large, complex enterprise environments to support strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage formalized solution architectures for data development and maintenance projects.
• Analyze current systems to understand inputs and outputs, then plan and design technical solutions.
• Provide documentation for object design decisions, estimating assumptions, and performance metrics.
• Serve as a senior subject matter expert to recommend best practices in solution architecture.
• Coordinate with IT staff to ensure compliance with department standards and participate in all development phases.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT work experience with a focus on architecture design and systems integration.
• Advanced knowledge of database management systems, database structures, and database theories.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle.
• Expertise in PL/SQL and T-SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software development and multi-platform environments.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Tallahassee, FL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on public sector projects.
