Description

Design and implement scalable data frameworks and software solutions to support trading activities and organizational growth.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for software solutions by collaborating with portfolio managers, traders, and operations staff.
• Develop scalable data architectures that align with client technology biases and enable new trading functions.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
• Provide knowledge transfer through application demos, walkthroughs, and technical documentation.
• Design the vision and blueprint for organizational data frameworks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Data Architect.
• Proficiency with Python and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EMR, Athena, and Iceberg.
• Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Experience with Hudi or Redshift, with a preference for Hudi.
• Ability to deliver efficient, scalable data architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Capital Markets.
