Description

You will design and implement software application systems with a focus on performance and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design software application architectures and maintain models, documentation, and guidelines.
• Lead data modelling, integration, and governance efforts to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Set the strategy and architecture for the application environment and GCP data initiatives.
• Integrate software components and data systems to ensure compatibility.
• Monitor and enhance application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application or data architecture.
• GCP expertise, specifically with BigQuery and Dataflow.
• Experience with Cloud Run and containerized environments.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Deep knowledge of Data Modelling, Indexing, and Partitioning.
• Experience working with both OLTP and OLAP systems.
• Background in PostgreSQL.
• Ability to work with stakeholders and developers to plan and execute projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large-scale data initiatives on Google Cloud Platform.
