Description

 Key Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-scale data architecture solutions for healthcare and PBM environments.

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for complex healthcare datasets.

Define and optimize data integration, ETL/ELT, data warehouse, data lake, and API architectures.

Support cloud migration and legacy data modernization initiatives.

Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, data engineers, and enterprise architects to align data strategies with organizational goals.

Establish and promote best practices for data governance, metadata management, data quality, and data lineage.

Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across enterprise data programs.

Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms that support business growth.

Required Qualifications

13+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Data Architecture and Data Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience within the Healthcare and PBM domain.

Deep understanding of PBM business processes and healthcare data ecosystems.

Proven expertise in data modeling, SQL, data warehousing, and data integration.

Experience with modern cloud and data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or Teradata.

Strong knowledge of cloud data architecture and large-scale data transformation initiatives.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with leading PBM organizations such as Express Scripts, Evernorth, CVS Caremark, OptumRx, Prime Therapeutics, or similar.

Hands-on experience with healthcare claims, pharmacy claims, eligibility, benefits, formulary, and pricing data.

Experience implementing Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage frameworks.

Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide data architecture initiatives.
