Lead the architecture and design of a centralized pricing database for actuarial modeling.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of a centralized pricing database for actuarial modeling.
• Define data strategy and integration roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Architect scalable data ingestion and transformation solutions using AWS, Databricks, SQL, and CData.
• Integrate the InsureMO rating engine and expose APIs for downstream consumption.
• Direct offshore development teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in architecture or data engineering roles.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS and Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Airflow.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Experience integrating rating engines such as InsureMO or eBaoTech.
• Working knowledge of CData, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Data Governance, Unity Catalog, and AWS deployment tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake.
