Description

You will design and implement scalable data solutions using modern streaming and cloud technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintainable and scalable solutions by adapting architecture and tools to evolving requirements.
• Manage data deployments across managed platforms including GKE, Google App Engine, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and AWS ECS.
• Implement and maintain data pipelines using streaming and real-time processing technologies.
• Work with distributed databases and message brokers to ensure system reliability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency with Java and Cassandra.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or other messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, or Kinesis.
• Experience with BigQuery, Teradata, or Netezza.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Couchbase, BigTable, or DataStore.
• Experience managing service deployments on GKE, Google App Engine, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, or AWS ECS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with real-time processing frameworks like Spark, Storm, or Beam (Dataflow).
• Knowledge of Python.
