• Database Maintenance: Oversee the daily operations of database environments to ensure maximum uptime, optimal performance, and strict data integrity across all production and development systems.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct comprehensive tuning of complex SQL queries, monitor database growth, and implement indexing strategies to enhance overall system response times.
• Security Management: Establish robust security protocols, manage user access permissions, and perform regular audits to protect sensitive corporate data from unauthorized access or potential threats.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following technical and professional qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven professional experience in managing large-scale, high-availability database environments in an enterprise setting.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of major database management systems such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL is mandatory for this role.
• Scripting Skills: Demonstrable proficiency in automation using shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell to streamline routine administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Job Description:-

- Environment: MS SQL Server, SSIS, Scheduled SQL Jobs, Iris to Connexus 3 data integration, On-prem infrastructure.
  - Key Responsibilities: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot SSIS packages and SQL jobs; investigate data integration and ETL failures; perform root cause analysis; implement monitoring/alerting; optimize ETL performance; validate data movement; manage deployments and support runbooks.
  - Technical Skills: SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL, SQL Agent Jobs, ETL support, troubleshooting.
  - Production Support Skills: Incident management, root cause analysis, performance tuning, data reconciliation.
  - Tools & Methodologies: Jira, Visual Studio / SSDT, SDLC.
  - Preferred/Desired Experience: High-volume enterprise apps, API-dependent data integrations, SOAP/REST environments, resolving critical SSIS/ETL and data sync failures.

• Advanced Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex database issues, resolve concurrency problems, and troubleshoot deadlocks under high-pressure scenarios.
• Professional Growth: Excellent communication skills combined with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are required to effectively document processes and mentor junior team members
