Description

You will lead the DevOps strategy and operations for data catalog platforms within a large-scale data ops stack.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps strategy for Alation Data Catalog and similar platforms.
• Support and automate infrastructure for data discovery and metadata governance.
• Work cross-functionally with data architects, engineers, and governance teams.
• Manage environments using AWS (EC2, S3, Glue, Athena, IAM).
• Apply Infrastructure as Code best practices to maintain secure and scalable Linux environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in IT experience.
• 5+ years working with Linux.
• 4+ years hands-on AWS experience (EC2, Glue, S3, IAM, Athena).
• Strong scripting proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience with Alation or similar catalog tools.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Security+ Certification (Mandatory).
