Description

You will own the implementation and maintenance of data cataloging solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain data catalog tools like Alation, Collibra, or Informatica.
• Onboard metadata from diverse sources, including SQL Server, Oracle, and cloud environments.
• Apply data governance practices across data catalog, data dictionary, and lineage workflows.
• Collaborate with teams and vendors to resolve data cataloging issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, data catalog, and data stewardship.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, and Java for data manipulation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with catalog tools such as Alation, Collibra, or Informatica.
• Experience onboarding metadata from SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with ETL technologies like Mulesoft.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Knowledge of data quality practices and their integration with data catalogs.
