Description

Own the technical due diligence, strategic assessment, and design standards for high-density data center and lab facilities. You will lead infrastructure strategy, construction governance, and cross-functional stakeholder management to ensure scalable, efficient deployments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical due diligence on new and existing facilities, evaluating power, cooling, connectivity, and expansion potential.
• Develop scalable, modular lab designs and define global design standards optimized for density, airflow, and operational efficiency.
• Define corporate standards for power distribution, cooling systems, and rack density, including high-density and liquid cooling readiness.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and contractor performance while leading design reviews and commissioning validation.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across IT, Facilities, and Procurement, providing executive reporting on risks, budget, and schedule.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data center architecture, construction, or operations.
• Strong background in infrastructure assessment and technical due diligence for high-density environments.
• Proven track record in large-scale lab or data center architecture and build-outs.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams.
• Familiarity with high-density computing, cloud-scale environments, and high-performance networks.
• Knowledge of DCIM, infrastructure monitoring, and automation platforms.
• Ability to utilize modeling and simulation tools for airflow and thermal validation.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications such as DCCA or CDCDP.
• Experience in semiconductor or high-density data center design.
