Description

You will manage physical hardware lifecycle and infrastructure maintenance within the data center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs), including hardware installation, device labeling, and power and network connectivity.
• Perform hardware support work orders covering cabling, certification, troubleshooting, and break-fix tasks.
• Manage asset auditing, daily work logs, and ticket tracking to maintain accurate inventory.
• Provide smart-hands assistance within specified SLA response times, including on-call duties.
• Maintain site security protocols, badging requirements, and strict documentation for media storage devices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data centers, operations, or a related technical field.
• Strong working knowledge of network hardware, copper and fiber infrastructure installation, and testing.
• Proficiency with Linux, SSH, RDP, and PuTTY.
• Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
• Understanding of AC/DC power principles and power distribution.
• Ability to coordinate equipment receiving, shipping, and RMA processing.
• Experience with Windows and Linux software support configurations.
