Description

You will manage physical infrastructure and hardware operations within a large-scale data center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, and configure IT equipment, including CPUs, tape units, disk storage, and peripherals.
• Manage cabling by reading patch sheets, labeling, and running cables according to specifications and SOPs.
• Analyze hardware, software, network, or media issues to determine root causes and implement remedies.
• Plan new project requirements by evaluating location, power, and network capacities.
• Coordinate with service providers and third parties to resolve technical issues and manage vendor onsite support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in a large data center support environment.
• Hands-on experience with power readings, reporting, and circuit installation/extension.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, specifically Incident, Change, and Problem management.
• Experience with data center monitoring tools.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate technical support.
• Knowledge of physical security protocols for data center hardware.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience optimizing existing workflows and developing new policies to support business expansion and operational efficiency.
