Description

You will manage and support data center infrastructure, networking, and server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and install firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and security appliances.
• Design and support site-to-site and remote access VPN solutions.
• Manage SAN configuration, including iSCSI and NFS connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and repair network connectivity issues and participate in on-call support.
• Document and diagram complex system deployments.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Server Engineer.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with hypervisors such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Experience with enterprise switches including Cisco, HPE Aruba, or Dell.
• Experience with security or edge devices like Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Juniper.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, DNS, and highly available systems.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, Fiber Optic, and DAC cabling technologies.
• Experience with OOBM for datacenter hardware.
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, Unix, and SQL Servers.
• Experience with Active Directory functions and Microsoft Server migrations.

Preferred Skills

• Conceptual understanding of dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, or IEGRP.
• Experience deploying and managing local backup environments like Veeam or Acronis.
• 3+ years of experience supporting inbound customer requests or issue resolution.
