Description

You will manage physical and virtual lab environments, focusing on hardware installation, networking, and infrastructure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install and manage server hardware, including Dell iDRAC, HP iLO, RAID arrays, and AC/DC power distribution.
• Configure and maintain multi-vendor L2/L3 networking devices from Cisco, Juniper, HP, and Dell.
• Execute equipment installation and migrations, including clean cabling and precise labeling.
• Create as-built design documents, diagrams, and database entries for new equipment and circuits.
• Monitor performance and availability of lab software applications to troubleshoot anomalies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data center or networking environments.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, and routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and HSRP.
• Experience with multi-vendor networking hardware and lab-specific equipment like firewalls, VPNs, and network analyzers.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and OpenStack.
• Ability to manage physical and virtual lab setups.

Preferred Skills

• CCNA certification or higher.
• Cloud-native experience with Docker and Kubernetes (kubeadm).
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Linux Bash, or PowerShell.
